Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I had a promotional gift card and ordered before the expiration date; however, a pair of $225 sandals I returned (stupidly) thinking I would get a site credit. I had sent back with the preaddressed label to them, saw it delivered, so I called to see why I didn't have the credit. After speaking with Adancia, she said because it was an AMEX promotional card, they wouldn't give a site credit. I asked if I could have the sandals and other item I returned sent back. She said no. I then wrote an email to customer care and Adancia responded saying a manager would call within 24 hours. Didn't get a call of course. There was also nothing in the fine print stating that you wouldn't get a credit if you returned. I called AMEX to give them feedback and said they should reconsider if they think about doing a promo with Moda again. What a shame MO has such terrible service because the point of promos is that the company hopes you spend more money with them, which I would have (since I was looking at more expensive items to purchase than the sandals); but now I will never use this site again.

They sell damaged products and won't accept returns!
I recently purchased a purse on sale. During the very first use I noticed 2 tears on the bag where the strap met the bag. I only had the bag for a week and emailed Moda asking for a refund or exchange as the bag was clearly sent to me torn. They said "no because it was final sale". After some research I realized this is actually their MO, to take damaged products and mark them on final sale, so the damaged product can be sold but not returned. I will never buy from them again. I can't support that kind of business.

Do not shop with this company
Do not shop with this company! I placed an order, they charged my credit card the full amount. Then in the middle of the shipping process, they decided to cancel the order without giving any reason, and requested the shipping company to return the shipment back to them before it was delivered. But they refuse to refund my payment and their excuse is because they need to wait for their package to arrive first. They cancelled the order, the recalled the shipment, is their decision not mine, but they’re holding my money (a large amount) as if I cancelled the order. Totally unethical, unprofessional, they run this business like a scam. I still have not got my money back. Do not order with this site.

Attempted to buy an item for christmas
Attempted to buy an item for christmas, early November. Initial email did not contain shipping date. Order on site stated that it would ship a few days into December. When I contacted them to confirm the date, they actually said it was December 15th that the order would ship. Terrible experience. Will not shop there again.

Charges & Blames Customers for Stolen Packages
MO's fraudulent and misleading package theft policy is a way to increase the company's enrichment at the cost of harming customers. The package I was sent was clearly stolen - they denied this and blamed the customer; when the evidence showed they were in the wrong. They could not even clearly state their policy or who was at fault. Instead, Abby (customer support) kept deflecting when I pressed her about their policy specifics.

The delivery driver did not notify us in any way, shape, or form of the delivery. I have videos of both improper delivery and theft. FexEx made a mistake, and MO tried to punish the customer.

This was my first and last time ordering from this website. I only ordered from MO because every other website online was out of stock of the specific item I wanted. Now MO is personally blacklisted from any future purchases of mine.

When I notified MO they wrote back saying, "file a police report," with no other help. I called in to follow up on their written response, thinking maybe there was a communication issue. I then was told their "policy only covers package theft when packages are in transit, not after it is marked delivered." Despite the evidence, they refused to acknowledge that the package was not correctly delivered. I mean, for crying out loud, the box was practically on the sidewalk too. The $800 package was also mailed without a signature requirement at the request of MO.

I am waiting 48 hours to file a chargeback, given they asked to escalate the issue to management. However, given the other reviews, I can see MO has no intention of resolving these ongoing package issues. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from any retailer, whether online or in person. Avoid this company.

Update: I submitted a chargeback through PayPal and contacted my bank to prep a chargeback through their services if the first attempt is unsuccessful. MO emailed back and stated they would blacklist me from their website if I filed a chargeback... think about how illegal and stupid that sounds at the same time. Who would ever order again from a website that commits fraud? What type of business threatens that you can't shop with them again if you escalate an issue they aren't even responding to? You'll receive better customer service on a $10 Amazon item than from MO for expensive items. The manager never reached out either. I am considering reporting them to my state's attorney general after this dispute concludes.

Update 2: I will be filing suit against Moda Operandi in small claims court. I repeat... do NOT ever purchase with this company. They are absolute frauds. I will be contacting Bottega Veneta directly as well to recommend they do not sell their products with MO. I have spent ~15k with BV and never had an issue. My first and only order with MO resulted in them stealing my funds and not providing the product. I would have accepted the loss in some form if they at least attempted to resolve it but they would not even file a FedEx claim. This is illegal and fraudulent. I recommend anyone dealing with this company file a case in your local small claims court.

Fradulent Company
After back and forth dispute about whether my orders were delivered or not. Initially I was refused a refund. My very first purchase were Prada sneakers that was dead stock everywhere so I ordered them here. Received them( it was a signature based package- that was not signed by me back by another recipient but nevertheless I got the package because it was sitting on my door step because fedex signed for it without my authorization why I was not home) I sent it back because they were too small.
Purchased two more item and never received them. I called to inform the company so they could follow up with fedex. I spoke with 2 different managers who insisted I look at the Q&A page about shipping.
They stated they were unable to give me a refund because the proof of delivery was successful. Given in fact that the last package was signed by a complete different individual. I guess they think fedex don't make mistakes. I followed up with fedex my self and fedex told me that they did not opt into starting a missing package claim.(FYI: even if the proof of delivery says successful Fedex will open up a missing package claim ONLY BY THE SHIPPER) So they were refusing to issue me my money back and file the claim.
I contacted them very Politely in the beginning, however, my patience gotten really thin because every time I was told someone would reach back out to me within 24-48; would turn out to be a week with the same disappointment. I was on the managers time. They are Fradulent and you have to down right use profane language for someone to take you serious. They closed my account but they could have saved theirselves the time because I WOULD NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS FRADULENT SITE AGAIN! Please be aware the customer service reps are rude, lazy and down right useless. Avoid shopping here at all cost you will not get refunded for a missing package regardless of what you say.

BEWARE OF SHOPPING WITH THIS OPERATION
The only way I'd buy from this merchant is if I were given merchandise for free. They have a customer service policy that's really disservice. They have many conditions to their return policy and the bottom line the return has to meet their standards - which are not normal business standards.

Worst service I have ever received
Agent was rude, condescending, and uncooperative. She did not resolve my problem. I spent considerable amount of money to purchase a luxury item and would expect far better service than this. Very disappointing and I will not purchase from this company again.

Don't ever buy anything from this shady company! I purchased a pair of Prada winter boots from them. They were both labeled 38 1/2. After a couple of times wearing them, the right foot was sooo tight I thought I was going crazy... I kept checking the labels and the box, everything said 38 1/2. After comparing the boots soles to each other... one was at least an inch shorter! The labels were fake! This company is selling knock off items! After emailing and calling them; they said there is nothing they can do. I am so sad and frustrated!

They have so many unique designer clothes but return service is horrible. They have a problem with their warehouse. I have 5000 dolars of merchandise waiting to be returned since August.

Moda just wants your money, even if you never receive your item
I purchased an item worth roughly $2,000 and it was supposedly delivered when i happened to be out of town. Given the value of the order, Fedex was required to receive my signature in order to release this item to me. Even though i was not even in my home state when this item was delivered, someone (i'm assuming the driver) signed for the package and i never received the item. I obviously filed a claim through moda who then in turn, requested fedex investigate the matter. I should note i was more than happy to provide moda my flight confirmation, proving that it was impossible for me to sign for my package. Moda just got back to me today saying that since fedex claimed i signed for this (even though i was not home), i will not be getting a reimbursement.
I knew that moda was going through some financial issues but this is just a scam. Save your money, go spend it at farfetch or net-a-porter or matches or any of the other luury e-commerce sites that actually work with their customer when there is an issue as opposed to just happily stealing their money.

Never shop again
This is the first time and will be my last time I shop with Moda Operandi, my package was recalled by them due to pricing discrepancy on the site? I placed an order use the code "NEWTOMODA" which is offered to new customers, I didn't get any discount other than that, how can they recall such a normal order? That was ridiculous! Don't shop on Moda Operandi, they don't care about the customers at all and they have very unprofessional customer service. Noted that they charged me for the order and still haven't refund me yet.

I tried to cancel the order two seconds after placing it. They ignored my phone calls and emails. Finally I spoke to someone who said they contacted the courier not to deliver the item but to return it to them. But it was delivered to me and I then had to go inside a DHL office during a pandemic and am immune compromised to send it back. Terrible experience shopping with Moda Operandi.

Nice but not as pictured.
I was so excited to purchase the Cabana Capri GSTADD Espalier Tumblers. I really do like these glasses but they do not look quite like the picture in the catalog. They are pretty and do look hand painted but not as delicate or unique as I had expected. The colors are darker than pictured. I also feel that they are overpriced.
